Sigfox Power Protector Sensor

While power failures and load shedding might be a irritation to all of us, it might cause major problems if you are not aware of it. In most instances, loss could have been prevented had you just known that the power was off.

Our Sigfox Power meter is designed to monitor power status and provide alerts on failures. The unit’s potential applications include cold-chain power monitoring for perishable goods, sensitive electronic equipment, server / computer room monitoring, critical equipment monitoring for hospitals and nursing homes and power critical infrastructure monitoring.

It comes with a USB cable to plug directly into a cellphone charger or computer usb port.

Our logger transmits the readings straight to our cloud-based platform, SenseItCloud, where you can see the readings, and receive WhatsApp and email alerts straight on your phone.

Because they are battery powered, and communicate via the Sigfox IoT network, they do not require wi-fi or a SIM-card, meaning they will continue working when your wi-fi is down, or during power outages and load-shedding.

The sensors are developed locally, thus supported locally, and comes in a rugged IP67 enclosure so the logger can be installed outdoors.

Data is transmitted via the Sigfox cloud infrastructure to senseitcloud.co.za for processing and reporting. No SIM-card or airtime is required.

Set up alerts and be notified via WhatsApp or email whenever temperature is out of range.
